06 May 10:00 - 12 May 13:00 - Casablanca
Wheels of Morocco
During this motorbike adventure trip to the North of Morocco you will ride through the rolling hills of the Rif mountain, see Chefchaouen, the “blue pearl” of Morocco, experience the winding roads on the cliffs of the Mediterranean coast, and relax on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean enjoying fresh seafood while watching the sunset above the never-ending waves.
Day 1 : Arrival
Arrival to Casablanca (or Rabat). Transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip. You will meet your tour-guide, go through a short briefing session as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.
Day 2 : Casablanca / Rabat – Asilah (approx. 330 km)
A rather long motorbike-riding day if we start from Casablanca, our journey will provide enough time to get acquainted with your machines and the driving habits in Morocco. Our bike touring route consists of rural roads with the occasional dirt track and we will have the opportunity to experience sand riding on the Atlantic coast.
Day 3: Asilah – Tetouan (approx. 140 km)
We’ll head with our motorbikes North from Asilah touring on the coastal road towards Tanger for our first stop at Cap Spartel to admire the view from the continent’s North-western extremity before cutting across towards the Mediterranean coast to ride on stunning winding roads towards Tetouan.
Day 4: Tetouan – Chefchaouen (approx. 300 km)
Today we’ll head south to enjoy more of the coastal roads, before taking on the winding mountain roads of the Rif. We’ll see plenty of twists and turns and you will be able to admire the beauty of the rural life. Our stop for the night will be Chefchaouen, the “blue pearl”, whose architecture is still reminiscent of the lovely villages of Andalusia.
Day 5: Chefchaouen – Moulay Bouselham (approx. 200 km)
As we will leave Chefchaouen in the morning, our bike-trip will take us across the land towards the Atlantic coast along winding roads as we leave the Rif mountains behind. Our lodging for the night will be a guesthouse as no hotels exist in Moulay Bouselham, which only adds to the charm and the untouched beauty of the place. We will admire the sunset from the terrace where we will be served fresh homemade seafood dinner.
Day 6: Moulay Bouselham – Casablanca / Rabat (approx. 250 km)
The beauty and the quiet of Moulay Bouselham will make it difficult to leave in the morning but we’ll have to head South to get back to Casablanca or Rabat, depending on the start point the group has chosen. Most of our route will be familiar from our first day when we rode towards Asilah. We will be arriving back to our HQ to return the bikes. You will then be taken back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the evening rewinding the best moments of the trip or you can decide to take the time to explore the city. This will be the last opportunity to invite your guide for a drink at the bar.
Day 7 : Departure
Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the arranged pick-up will take you to the airport.
